Tubi is by far my favorite streaming service. It’s free, and it’s a treasure trove of forgotten gems like the 1978 made-for-tv disaster flick A Fire in the Sky.

First off, I love ‘70s disaster films, and I love TV movies, so I’m always thrilled to stumble across one of either I haven’t yet seen.
This one was pretty solid, with decent production values and top-notch acting and writing.
The plot is pretty much the same as any other comet/meteor/asteroid movie, but that’s fine. That’s all it needs to be. I was entertained, and in an age when people seem to have forgotten that entertainment is the primary reason people watch movies, that’s always a plus.
