  1. That’s honestly the best advise anyone can give right now. The world’s a mess, and stressing about that fact isn’t going to make anything better. So go read a book and forget about it all, at least for a little while.

  2. We’ve trained ourselves to feel guilty if we don’t agonize over every minute-by-minute detail of current events. That can be hard on the human psyche, being IVd up to an outrage drip all day. The mind needs to escape.
