Sometimes I get nostalgic for the early days of the internet, when just the very act of reading or looking at something someone to the web seemed truly amazing to me. The following is a collection of either archived or still active vintage websites.
Yes, the Heaven’s Gate website still remains active, maintained by two members who “stayed behind” when the rest “departed their vessels” (killed themseves) in order to hitch a ride on a passing UFO. Very creepy. 🪐

The most surprising one to me is the Dole/Kemp page. Looks like the donations link doesn’t work anymore.
I had a really awful page in 1996 that was just me making ugly rants with a bunch of animated Beavis and Butthead gifs
I’m not that cool. I think the first anything that I made online was probably a MySpace page.
I was only able to do it with a computer whiz friend setting it up for me.
